Cooking_diva_valle_escondido__s_n_2If you are a foodie and a blogger you have no doubt come across Melissa De Leon, The Cooking Diva, and award winning Internet blogger. Sam Taliaferro is both and located Valle Escondido’s new chef in this manner.

The young, charming chef has an extensive, international education, which should delight patrons of VE’s restaurants Sabor Escondido and El Higueron and possibly entice first timers out to the resort for a special meal.

The Diva aims to change the menus every month to month and a half to keep dining a fresh and interesting adventure with exotic as well as favorites features. “There are six traditional items not on the menus that can be requested from the kitchen on any given day”. So ask for your favorite even if you don’t see it.

You (B)log: First International Bloggers Congress in Brasil edit

Susiebubbleguilhermevaladares1_3

The first international bloggers congress in Brasil, entitled 'You B(log)' took place at the planetarium inside the Ibirapuera Park in Sao Paulo. I was invited to participate and to be one of the speakers, and to tell you the truth, I had a great time! Not only I had the opportunity to express my points of view on blogging and my experiences during the almost five years of existance of my dear Cooking Diva Blog, but I met so many brilliant bloggers and made some very interesting business contacts!

The event was a courtesy of Vogue Brasil and Brastemp, organized by Cacá Ribeiro Eventos.

The panel of bloggers consisted of:

Susie Lau of Style Bubble, one of the most famous blogs of Fashion in the UK, and the whole world! Sorry Susie, I know you wont like to read this but, it is the truth hehe!

Glauco Sabino of Descolex (Sao Paulo, Brazil) - An urban blog, colorful and popular like his creator!

Vitor Angelo of Dus Infernos (Brazil) - A very outspoken fashion and culture blog, just like Vitor!

Guilherme Valadares of Papo de Homem (Brazil) - A blog focused on mens lifestyle.

Jennine Tann of The Coveted (Germany) - Jennine could not personally be at the event because of visa issues, but she was live via Skype!

The event was hosted by Marcelo Tas, the mastermind behind Marcelo Tas - The Blog. He is a very popular TV personality and the creator of one of the first blogs in Brazil.

Check out one of the videos of the event:

Will post photos and report more about this event later!

Have a great day!
